Not at 10 km yet

My plan was to run 10 km before the end of this week but I do not think I will get it done. Today I did run almost 7 km at a pace just under 7 minutes per km. I might try to take a shorter run on Wednesday and then maybe 8 km on Friday.

Today we went out for lunch and I had a nice salad with smoked salmon.

For dinner I made a cold salad of chicken, avocado, paprika, parmesan cheese and mayo.

    Hi Tommy. Your meals look really tasty. It’s great to hear that you are progressing so well with your walking and now running. I have run 6 marathons but have not been active for the past 20 years for a variety of reasons including some running injuries. But I’m starting from ZERO by walking every morning. I’m up to an hour now and will probably not get much farther. That is just enough for me. I have started a “lift heavy things” program – just here at home – but I’m so weak!! We all have to start somewhere though eh? You are a good example. (I’m 71 years old but slim)
