Fasting continues

I am now completed my 5th day of fasting. I must say I am surprised I do not have any problems at all. Sure, now and then I get a little hungry but not as bad as I thought I would feel by now. The goal is to keep fasting until Friday lunch and rigth I feel confident I will make it.

This morning I did run over 4km and I did not feel any lack of energy. This also surprises me a little bit.

I have only had 2 cups of coffee and a bottle of mineral water today.

The only downside to the fasting is tah it is a bit boring writing these posts without pictures of food… 🙂  I really hope you can bare with me a couple of days more. Then I will start eating again and post a lot of pictures again…

    I find longer fasts (over two days at least) are easier than shorter fasts for me. The first two days tend to be the hardest. I exercise three days a week and don’t seem to have a decrease in performance, although exercise does make me hungrier (for both fasting and non-fasting days).

    This week, I’m fasting from Sunday night to Tuesday at lunch, then from Tuesday night to Thursday at lunch. This allows me to eat with my family on Tuesday and Thursday (the other days, I don’t get home early enough to eat with them).
