Today I experimented a bit with a recipe I have seen “floating around” the net. Mozzarella stuffed meatballs. My take was like this.
- 250 g minced pork
- 50 g parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- “pizza seasoning” (oregano and other herbs)
I mixed pork, parmesan, egg and seasoning. Then I made meatballs that I fried in al little butter.
At the sam time I made a really “strong” red wine sauce of
- 2,5 dl red wine
- 25 g chopped onion
- some stock
- salt and pepper
- 75 g butter
I fried the onion in a little butter and added the stock and wine. I reduced down to maybe 1/3.
Then I added butter while the wine was cooling down of the heat.
Finally I poured the sauce on the meatballs.
