Swedish surf & turf

Today we had our manager visiting our office and we went out for lunch. The “old” buffet restaurant was the place and sausages, salmon and cheese was the dish… 🙂  A quite Swedish surf and turf…

        BTW, I always wondered about how you eat the meat and the butter exactly. Is the butter cold or at room temperature? Do you put slices on top of the chops and let it melt? Or do you slather the butter directly on the pieces you cut? Do you take turns eating pieces of meat and butter?

        Sorry, if you have already explained it somewhere on your blog …

          I eat the butter both melted over the “meat” or per cut as you say.

          Before I make the butter I make it really soft in the micro or for an hour in room temperature. I always eat it room tempered. Really cold butter lacks taste… 🙂
