Never say never

Today we where supposed to visit Bahamas but it was so windy so the tendering boats was not allowed to be used. We just past the Island at a distance… So we had to stay on the ship the whole day. I am not that disappointed. This was the least interesting “port” this tripp. It’s an Island owned by the shipping company and is really commercialized.

I had some bacon and eggs for breakfast… Quite nice view…

…and even thou I have said I never will lay on the deck sun bathing I actually decided to give it a shot and I have to be honest… It was quite nice. As proof I have a not so nice picture of my white legs…

After the sunbathing I has a small lunch at the buffet and then I spend the early afternoon moving form on quiet place to another.

Before dinner I went to a seminar arranged by the ship and there was a girl talking about how to boost your metabolism. I got into kind of an argument with her about the low carb thing and I was told you really need to eat carbs for your brain. She did not really have a good answer… I told her I have lost 200 lbs and I explained to her what I eat and she recommended me to eat less red meat and more lean chicken… lol… The seminar ended with us getting a good deal on nutrition consultation and a full body analysis for only 99 USD.

Dinner tonight was the first formal dinners and I spent 30 minutes to get the tie correct… I think I made it look ok but I have no pictures to prove it…

I had two starters that look almost the same. First Scallop Gratin

And then snails in garlic butter.

For main I had beef (again)

And cheese (again) for dessert.

The intakes was

During the day I walked around and took some pictures of the ship and I found my way to the skating arena.

And a picture down at one end of the promenade. The ship is huge…

Tomorrow I will have my presentation and tide we convinced Dr Fox at my table to also do a presentation so all of us at our table (except Jackie’s husband will talk during the cruise).
