Last week I wrote on the Swedish blog I was going to the city of Västerås and I got contacted buy a guy who lives in a town slightly of the rout there but close enough. He wrote me and said there was a nice cheese store operated by the same family since 1967.
I was also promised some coffee. Who could resist a coffee and cheese? Not me. Thanks P for the coffee and nice chat!
The store was really nice and I got me some different cheeses. The coffee and the chat was really good so I might drive by this town whenever I go to Västerås… (Yes, thats my new car…)
When I got home I ate some of the cheese during cooking with one of the other. I made a creamy gorgonzola sauce to my chops.
- 125g gorgonzola
- 1dl double cream
- some beef stock
- salt and pepper
After frying the pork chops I just “de-glaced” the pan with cream and stock and let it reduce a bit before melting the gorgonzola into the pan.
