Ox cheek and red wine

Today I went to dinner with a colleague and a former colleague. The grill was closed so I had to cope with eating ox cheek. To be honest I actually planned to eat that anyway since I know it is on the menu. I did also have a galss of with to the food.

It was extremely tender and tasty! A rich full red whine sauce and some salad (I did not eat the carrots).

We also got a little pice of chocolate to the coffe but I gave mine away.

I guess the sauce was thickened with flour so I added some when calculating the nutritions.

When I got home I made myself a similar “sandwich” as yesterday to get the fat up a bit.
