Yesterday evening I took a quick drive to Stockholm to meet up with some friends to celebrate one of them on his 40th birthday.

The restaurant that was chosen was Bar Central 10 minutes from “Medborgarplatsen” on “Söder”… I had no real expectations since Stockholm is full of restaurants with varied quality.

I was in for a big surprise. This was the best meal I have had in a very long time.

We started with some “cold cuts” including pickled cauliflower, ham, sausages and bread for the carb eaters.

For main I had the Roasted Pork shank. A huge piece of meat perfect cooked with some sauerkraut on the side. The huge piece of meed made me only taste the sauerkraut. I guess it was well over 300g of really nice and fat meat on the shank.

The rind was crisp and really nice to chew on…

All in all a perfekt LCHF meal!
