Early morning

A couple of days ago I had a friend over for a chat and one of the things we discussed was a new project he has started with. We also discussed me doing kind of the same and this got my brain working 24/7. So today I woke up at 4 AM and I could not stop thinking about this project so I got up and started working… I will not yet let you know what it is. I need to get a bit further in the process first. Once I have committed even harder I’ll make progress reports here… I promise…

We also have a project at work where we as new hires are supposed to put up a 30 minutes show at our christmas party. The day at work started with us doing a lot of filming for our pre recorded parts of the show and now I will HAVE TO LEARN iMovie… It’s gonna be fun and from some of the tutorials I have watched I think I will be able to at least get the most part up to a level suitable for a Christmas party…

Part of the show will include a little story about an interesting event that happens twice a year at my new job. We are in the sports retail business and the design/sourcing department tends to accumulate quite a lot of “stuff” over the year. So to get rid of most of the clothes, accessories and sport “hardware” the employees gets a chance to buy stuff for crazy low prices. As an example we can get winter jackets with retail prizes at 200 US for 5-10 USD. So, yes, pretty cheap. I got a nice sweater, 5 pairs of socks and a “hat” för 5 USD… Retail price about 40 USD.

The day after our opportunity we can give away two tickets to friends and family to do the same. This is the line of friends and families from today. Quite a lot of people.
