Ketones on hold

I have run out of sticks for the measuring device and I think I will take a break from the testing. It is getting quite expensive and I think I have some good clues on what to eat to keep me in ketosis. A lot of fat, not that much proteins and as little carbs as possible.

Regarding the blood sugar levels the sticks are a lot cheaper so I will probably do some testing on different foods or drink later. I really must test a real coke to compare with the Zero…

I have started with the coffee again but I will try to keep it to a minimum at work. Today I had a nespresso for breakfast, a “work-coffee” for lunch and a nespresso. Before by koffein free weeks I had several cups of coffee at work. Up to 5-6 cups. And then atleast two nespresso at home… Its gonna be a lot less now…

The dinner tonight was a couple of pork chops with fried cabbage and a lot of garlic butter.

Back when you were drinking those 5-6 coffees at work, did you add anything to the coffee — like heavy cream or any low carb sweetener — or was it always black?

    • Tommy says:

Always as black as possible. Plus on the “strength” and minus on the “size”… No sweeteners and no “white” (the name for the “milk” on our machines…)

  2. Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Ie, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, excellent blog!
