Blood sugar and Coke Zero

I am hooked on testing my blood… Yesterday I tested “pure” coffee and today I felt like testing something else. My ketone stick is almost out so I opted to test blood sugar only after firts eating a bit of cheese (and yes, there is some butter on the cheese). The after a couple of hours a bottle (50cl) of Coke Zero.

I would say my blood sugar levels where not affected very much by neither. It feels like the change could be “random” flux from the eqipment as well s the food/drink.

So a little cheese for breakfast and then a coke and finally dinner. The dinner war a kind of wook with cabbage (red and white), minced beef and garlic butter. Nice and simple. After the testing of the coke I was more hungry than I have felt in a long time so maybe the sweetener is affecting me in other ways than on the blood sugar. I ate a lot of chess so the calories today was over 2000. Not very often they go that high nowadays. In the middle of the week I bought some cheese and ate some every day. Not sure if there is a correlation, but the waigth startet to go up a bit again. Next week I will try not to eat any cheese at all…

  1. Glennis Burdg says:

Normally, your blood glucose levels increase slightly after you eat. This increase causes your pancreas to release insulin so that your blood glucose levels do not get too high. Blood glucose levels that remain high over time can damage your eyes, kidneys, nerves, and blood vessels…..’

    Till next time
