Today was the first time I incorporated some running on my morning walk. I have started to follow a newbie guide for running since I have not run in 25 years (or more). So my goal to run New York Marathon 2017 needs me to start running… 🙂 The guide is based on combining running and walking and toda for my first run I walked 25 minutes first. Then I mixed 2 minutes running and 4 minutes 5 times. The first 2 minute run was a bit tougher than expected and I kind of decided to only do two of the fieve runs but I actually got my motivation together and did all five. Now I am starting to feel a bit “stiff” in my legs but I hope it will pass during the night. On Friday I will follow the same routine but “rest” 2 minutes instead of 4 minutes between the runs. To keep track of the time I made a playlist in itunes and I have to do a new one for Friday. I have got to find nice 2 minutes songs to use…
The running also made me do a new record for the 10K. 1:34.
After the morning walk/run I had 3 eggs and some mayo before going to work.
For dinner I just fried some chicken and steamed some broccoli.
