Puerto Rico

Today we arrived at Puerto Rico and the city of San Juan. The arrival was quite late in the afternoon and some things happened before the disembarking.

For the second year the cruise committee put together a 5 KM walk/run event on the ship. I started out a little early and according to the GPS I walked quite a bit… It is funny using the gps on a moving ship…

This is a picture taken of me by a fellow cruiser.

After the walk we had a group breakfast with the Diet Doctor team.

I had some herring…

And eggs and bacon

We did not really get enough of the food so we went up to the buffet and had some more.

I also had two plates of lunch before disembarking.

The intakes was pretty high on protein. There was no room for dinner and I did not really eat all of the stuff on the plates above.

We spent a couple of hours in San Juan and we went to one of the forts and then I took a bus tour around both the old city and the new one. Really nice city!

In the evening I wet to a show in the theatre.

It was really good. A talented guy called Joel Mason did a comedic Elton John tribute.Skärmavbild 2015-05-26 kl. 23.48.40

I’m going on a cruise in a few weeks and am very concerned about staying in ketosis. Thank you for posting such great pictures about your cruise.

I have been of 3 cruises and going on my 4th now in May. There is no problem at all eating god ketogenic food. The buffets are one option and there you can have only the things you want. In the dinner room at the evenings it is easy to just ask for extra butter and no potatoes… So it is pretty easy. There are a lot of temptations so maybe that the worst thing…
