After a full day of gaming and “hobbying” at the store I came home to a really warm apartment and at the store I drunk a lot of water and coffee. I was “craving” something salt and ate some cheese and smoked ham… And drunk some more water. Today I must have drunk at least 4-5 liters of water in total… Kind of a record for me…
For dinner I mede the goat cheese butter again and I actually recorded the making and hopefully I can publish a short movie tomorrow. I have to train myself a bit in Adobe Premiere first…
To the butter once again I fried a couple of pork chops. In a comment I got the question on how I cook the chops so I can copy that answer here too
High temperature pan, 3/3, with butter and as soon as the butter is quiet I put the chops in the pan and lower the temp to 2/3. After 3-4 minutes I turn the chops to the other side and lower the temp to 1,5/3 and put a lid on and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes. The I turn the stove of and let the chops rest in the pan another 2-3 minutes. Normally the chops are slightly pinkish. Not even close to rare, but not dry and chewy… I will try to make a movie now when I have started recording some stuff. I will also take a picture of the color of the chop when I think they are perfect.
I know people are afraid of “rare” pork but I would rather eat i slightly undercooked than overcooked… But thats me… Living on the edge… 🙂
