I read about a less painful way of measuring the kotones than my blood tests. DietDoc wrote about Jimmy Moore’s testing with a Swedish tool that measures acetone in the breath. The tool can be found here.
I started testing on monday Monday but all I got was red lights (which is good) so I brought it to work to make sure the other colors worked as well… I was the only one that “blew red”.

For dinner tonight I made a nice butter of:
- 100g butter
- 100g diced avocado
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- chili pepper and paprika powder for seasoning
To the butter I fried some burgers and steamed 125g of broccoli.
