2 day post after race report

Yesterday it was race day. I was supposed to do my first half marathon. 62000+ was registered 40000 ended up running if the papers are right. It is a bit “funny” to lose 20000 people…

The weather was very warm so I had a really hard “run”. I am not used to run in shining sun since I normally do my runs at 5:30 in the morning. So due to the heat I was a bit concerned about water so I drank water at all stations and pretty soon I got a little problem with my stomach (stitch??). In Swedish it is called “håll”. It is kind of light cramps or something… So I did have ta walk a lot more than I planned. I probably run only 7-8km of the 21km.

The track was around Gothenburg with two really long and high bridges… Nice view…

I did manage to get to the finish line…

…and I got my medal.

I did only eat 2 eggs in the morning before the run and then only some cheese and olives after the finish. We did drive back and forth to Gothenburg, so we got home pretty late so after a shower I headed to bed without anymore to eat…

The intake was really low on the net energy…

Today I naturally was a bit hungry in the morning so I had two packages of bacon and 4 eggs and some butter. (I am using an old picture)

In the afternoon I had a couple of sausages so the intake for today was
